this is invading privacy! this website should be shut down. its not fair to people who especially dont know that their numbers are on here! this is just allowing perverts and pedophiles be able to find people, it gives more information that it should be allowed and it is very unacceptable!!!

ps, if you want to find a phone number its called using a phonebook!! not invading privacy, this information shouldnt even be on here!

bre, are you joking? All of the information is publicly available. REALLY! Just because people like you don’t know it is or what to obtain it, doesn’t mean automatically mean it is an invasion of your privacy.

Evidently, the Telephone Investigator’s Research System WEB site (http://tirs.us) is shut down. Does anyone know of an alternate access, or another site with similar information?

It’s still up.

Am looking @ it right now in another window.

I use it to track down telemarketers messaging my cell, faxing my machine, and calling my landline. Then I complain to the authorities, presto!

These weasels share, trade, and sell their marketing lists.

I’ve gone from having several calls a month to just a few a year.

Apparently I’m getting purged. WooHoo.

“bre, are you joking? All of the information is publicly available”…. Usually for a price if it’s not a conventional landline, unlisted, wireless etc.

How can you tell if they’re telemarketers???My pre-paid cell gets calls from them off the hook…I’d love to be able to turn them over to the authorities.

You guys should check out http://tnid.org — they seem to do the same thing as the other site did. Free Caller ID lookups on US numbers.
